We want to let you know about an update to our pool opening service options for the upcoming season. To better match different pool conditions and customer needs, we now offer three Pool Opening tiers.

Basic Pool Opening – $350 + Chemicals

• Removal and cleaning of pool cover

• Start-up of pool equipment

  o Any repair/replacement of small parts and equipment less than $100 will be completed at the time of the opening and billed for the materials used.

  o Any repairs and/or replacements needed that are greater than $100 will be quoted and emailed to the customer to approve and schedule at a later date.

• Skimming the pool surface and brushing walls

• One initial chemical treatment based on water chemistry at the time of opening

Please note: Vacuuming and additional chemical rechecks are not included in this tier. Any further service (vacuuming and/or chemical balancing) will be scheduled as a service call at $125 per visit.

Better Pool Opening – $450 + Chemicals

Includes everything in the Basic Pool Opening, plus:

• One chemical recheck included

Please note: Vacuuming is not included in this tier. If desired, vacuuming can be scheduled as a separate service call once the pool is clear, at $125 per visit. We will require photo submission of the pool being clear to schedule the cleaning service. If the main drain is not visible, additional chemical rechecks can be performed prior to a cleaning service, at $125 per visit.

Best Pool Opening – $600 + Chemicals

Includes everything in the Basic and Better Pool Opening, plus:

• Up to 3 rechecks that can include chemical balancing and/or cleaning based on water conditions

• We strive to vacuum the pool at this option, however if water conditions do not allow for clear view of the main drain and we have reached our maximum of 3 visits, additional service can be scheduled

These options allow you to choose the level of service that best fits your pool’s condition and your budget. Please keep in mind that any additional pool features, including spa, both integrated and stand alone, and spill over pools, will add an additional $150 to your opening fee.

Any service calls scheduled after the completion of the Basic and Better pool openings will be subject to scheduling based on current/existing scheduled services. At the height of opening season this could be 10–14 days out from your request, so please keep that in mind for any events you may be planning.

If you have questions or would like help selecting the right option, we’re happy to assist. We schedule our openings by the week so we can accommodate as many customers as possible and also prepare for days that the weather does not allow us to work. Please let us know in the comment section if you have a specific day that you prefer, and we can tryto work around that.

To prepare for your pool opening, please have any items that were removed and left for you at your closing out in plain sight where our techs will have access to them, to avoid being charged for items you may already have. Please also check that your water level in the pool is back up to at least the middle of the skimmer (normal operating level). Finally, please make sure your cover pump is placed on the cover and is pumping any accumulated water from the cover so we will be able to open the cover at the time of your opening, as we will not remove water from your cover at the time of your opening.

We do require all customers to have a valid credit card on file in order to schedule any services. All invoices will be emailed to the provided email address and will be billed to the credit card on file 48-hours after the invoice is sent.
